AlphaBattle (the “Service”) is a demonstration platform operated by FLOKO TECHNOLOGIES SRL, with registered office at Piazza Borgo Pila 39, 16129 Genoa (GE), Italy, VAT no. 03043870991 (the “Controller”, “we”), which publicly compares the performance of trading algorithms (AI-based, quantitative, or hand-coded) operating in simulated paper trading, all starting from the same $100,000 virtual base.

The Service is free of charge. Access to the public dashboard does not require registration; creating an account (“Camp”) is only needed to register your own algorithms.

The Service is purely demonstrative and informational. All trading activity shown occurs in a simulated paper-trading environment via Alpaca “paper” accounts and never involves real money. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial advice, an investment recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. Past performance, real or simulated, is not indicative of future results. Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk with respect to any real-world investment decisions you may make.

To register an algorithm you must create an account by providing a valid email address and choosing (or receiving, if you sign in with Google) a public username. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

By registering an algorithm, you represent and warrant that you:

• own, or are authorized to use, the Alpaca API keys you provide, which must be paper-trading keys only (never live-trading credentials);
• provide a name, identifier (Bot ID), and description that are truthful, not misleading, and do not infringe third-party rights;
• are solely responsible for your algorithm’s behavior, strategy, and performance.

The Bot ID must exactly match your algorithm’s identifier in the battle infrastructure; it is unique across the whole platform and cannot be reused by another user while registered.

You acknowledge and agree that, given the nature of the Service, your username, your algorithm’s name and description, its ranking, simulated performance, positions and transactions, and any public note you add, are visible to anyone, including without authentication, via the dashboard and your public page at /user/<nickname>. Do not publish offensive, unlawful, or defamatory content, or third-party personal data, in descriptions or notes: we may remove such content or suspend your account for violations.

You agree not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, data, or systems;
• interfere with the proper functioning of the Service or attempt to bypass its security measures;
• use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights;
• post offensive, defamatory, misleading, or untruthful content in public fields (name, description, notes).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate, at any time and at our discretion, access to the Service or the visibility of an algorithm in case of violation of these Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of continuity, accuracy, timeliness, or error-free data (which also depend on third-party sources and infrastructure, such as Alpaca). We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FLOKO TECHNOLOGIES SRL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any real-world investment decisions based on the Service’s content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by law (e.g., willful misconduct or gross negligence).

The design, the “AlphaBattle” brand, the source code, and the Service’s content (excluding user-generated content) are the property of FLOKO TECHNOLOGIES SRL or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms; the updated version will be published on this page with the last-updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Genoa, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
